Mike, Boyd and the team would like to welcome you to The Royal Oak, a brick-built Victorian pub set in the heart of Borough, London.
 

Nestled on the corner, London high-rises have sprung up around our charming boozer, leaving it an untouched homage to a time when pubs were a place to go for a quiet pint after work, or to put the world to rights with friends.
 

The first London pub Harvey’s Brewery acquired, we like to stay pretty low key keeping it simple with good beer and good food. We are the secret watering hole of many a Sussex expat, lover of Harvey’s, and cask beer enthusiasts nationally, and internationally!
 

We’re proud to have received plenty of recognition over the years, including being named one of the UK’s top ten pubs by The Daily Telegraph in 2010 and featuring in The Telegraph’s Best Pubs in the UK 2026. We were also ranked 23rd in the Evening Standard’s Top 50 Pubs in London in 2023 and named SE London CAMRA Pub of the Year in both 2023 and 2025. We also hold a five-star rating from Time Out London and regularly feature in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide.
